The purpose of Selected List of Books for Teachers is to provide
teachers and other educators in Georgia with a listing of professional
educational materials available for loan from Readers Services of the
Division of Public Library Services This list supplements the 1972
Selected List Only a small portion of the total number of volumes
available for loan can be included Many older titles are omitted
New books are purchased regularly many by special request and every
effort is made to meet the professional needs of the Georgia Department
of Education staff and teachers throughout the state
Teachers desiring to borrow these or other professional books
should request them through their regional or county public library
Detailed instructions concerning loans of library materials for
teacher workshops are available upon request to Readers Services
