Overview
The Office of Communications serves as Georgia Department of Community Health's (DCH) primary point of contact for all marketing, branding, media relations, and internal and external communications activities. The Communications team focuses efforts on creating and maintaining a consistent brand and messaging for DCH. Specifically the team oversees media relations, public relations, strategic communications and website operations for the Department. The team also creates facts sheets for all of DCH's offices, divisions and programs, writes and distributes press releases and media advisories, designs and implements member and provider educational and promotional campaigns, and works with subject matter experts to create legislative briefs. The Office of Communications is also responsible for Intranet and Internet website maintenance, and oversees of the Governor's Office of Customer Service program at DCH.
