www.gta.georgia.gov/transformation
GTA is seeing a growing gap in the depth of understanding about the state's technology outsourcing and transformation initiative and the extent of change it will bring to the way agencies approach many aspects of their business operations.
To close the gap, GTA is preparing its next wave of detailed communications with agencies. We are planning to meet with agency heads and their business leadership beginning in August. The meeting will focus on what your agency needs to do to prepare for upcoming changes and your agency's role in the state's new IT enterprise.
Related topics for the meeting include: Governing the state's new IT enterprise Accountability: your agency's responsibilities and GTA's Impacts on your business and what will be different: planning, setting priorities, schedules and control Where you can expect to "feel pain" Impacts on your staff: shifting from functions to specific positions Financial and budgetary impacts
More information about the schedule of meetings will be announced soon.
