Georgia Correctional Industries (GCI) is an integral part of the success of the Georgia Department of Corrections. GCI employs approximately 1,400 inmates. During their incarceration, they learn work ethics, job skills, and earn a paycheck which allows them to pay back society. With supervision provided by the GCI staff, GCI factories turn out scores of competitive products, ranging from furniture to janitorial supplies and hopefully turns out inmates who will find good jobs upon release and will not reoffend.
