COMPENSArION & STAFFING
The Compensation and Staffing Division provides professional human resource management services that are designed to increase productivity and provide means of implementing best practices.
Base services include:
Recruitment services for entry to core level jobs
Coordination of vacancy postings on the JobSite
Applicant information and job counseling
Applicant assessment services Job market research and analysis Job market salary reports
Fee services include:
Agency~unique job classification and evaluation studies
Customized staffing projects
Identification of workforce strategies and models
development of assessment tools to identify high-performance competencies
development/implementation of behavioral interviewing tools and techniques
Customized recruiting
targeted sourcing strategies fUll-scope sourcing and applicant
screening agency literature development
Customized salary surveys or labor market analysis

TRAINDINEGVE&LOOPRMGEANNTIZATION
The Training and Organization Development Division provides, customizes and coordinates statewide training and organization development services. The Division operates and maintains the GMS Training Center that is located in Decatur.
Base services include:
Performance Management Process Training (PMPT)
New PMPT instructors' training HRMS training administration and
technical assistance Classroom and meeting space on a
limited basis at the GMS Training Center Human resource development technical assistance
Fee services include:
Management, support staff, and professional skills development training programs and conference presentations
Customized training development projects
Teleconference/satellite programs. Consultation and technical assistance
for organization development projects and initiatives Provide PC training and use of labs at the GMS Training Center

CUSTOMER SERVICE
The Customer Service Division provides human res~urces services and employee programs deslgne~ to assist agencies in assessing, developmg, retaining, and restructuring their workforce and enhancing employment relations.
Base services include:
Employee-Management Relations services, which include:
technical assistance with human resource practices, policies, and legal and regulatory compliance (FLSA, FMLA, EEO, FEPA, etc.)

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
The Employee Benefits Division administers benefits for active and retired employees through the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Programs and the Deferred Compensation Program. Base services include:
Flexible benefits plan development, design and administration
Pre-tax options include Dependent and Health Care Spending Account, Employee Life Insurance, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, Long-term Disability, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance and FlexTrans
After-tax options include Short-term Disability, Dependent Life Insurance, Legal Insurance and Long-term Care
Flexible benefits program open enrollment

Deferred Compensation Plan development, design and administration
