Georgia House of Representatives 2009 PAGE Program
Welcome to the Georgia House of Representatives PAGE Program. We hope this experience will be one you'll recall with fondness for many days to come. As a House Page, you will serve the House of Representatives members by delivering important information and messages to them in the House Chamber.
The Page program provides students a first hand opportunity to observe and participate in their state government. Pages work for the legislative day and at day's end receive $10.00 pay. Pages must be at least 12 years old to participate in this program.
The Page Desk is located directly in front of the House Chamber on the third floor. Please arrive at the PAGE Desk one hour prior to the time you are scheduled to page. An orientation session is held for all pages, to give you a general overview of your duties. Pages should be neatly dressed in comfortable shoes and clothing. A certificate of service will be presented to each page at the end of the day and will serve as an excuse from school.
Please direct any questions to your Representative's office. The staff will be happy to assist you.
Enjoy your experience and thank you for your service to the Georgia House of Representatives.
