GROUP is dedicated to assisting Georgians with disabilities to obtain, regain, and maintain selfsupporting employment.
Who is Eligible?
l Individuals between the ages of 14 and 64 with any type of disability:
u Who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or both
u And who are interested in pursuing work goals.
Plans for Achieving Success
GROUP provides:
l Information and assistance on how employment will impact your Social Security and state benefits.
l Advice on benefits planning through the use of work incentives such as Plan for Achieving Self-Support (PASS), Impairment-Related Work Expense (IRWE), Trial Work Period and 1619B (maintaining Medicaid while working).
l Counseling about work options and support services in other available programs to help you explore your employment choices.
l Follow-up and guidance.
