Understanding Your Benefits ...
ERS offers several ways for state employees to understand the importance of their retirement and financial benefits. Employees may attend seminars depending on their years in state service. Personnel officers or other agency officials may request shorter presentations on ERS and Peach State Reserves (PSR). We also offer programs to train personnel officers. Call us to discuss the individual needs of your agency.

OTHER PROGRAMS
WRAP - Workshop for Retirement Application Processing
WRAP is a program designed specifically for anyone within three months of retirement. WRAP requires no fee and no registration. These half day sessions are held three times each month. Dates and locations are listed on the ERS website at www.ersga.org.
Before attending WRAP: request a benefit estimate from Member Services at ERS. Estimate request forms are avail-
able on the website. Do this at least two months before attending, and bring the estimate with you. If you cannot get an estimate from ERS in time for WRAP, you may bring a calculator estimate from the website, but you should be aware that the internet estimates are conditional
on the information you supply. In addition, options 1 and 4 are not included.
WRAP is specifically designed to bring together representatives from ERS, Flex Benefits, and Health Insurance to assist the retiring employee in understanding the retirement process and regulations affecting benefits after retirement.
Short Presentations
Employees' Retirement System representatives want to provide employees with opportunities to learn more about the importance of their ERS retirement benefits and the Peach State Reserves (PSR) 457 and 401(k) plans. We can provide presentations ranging from a half-hour to an hour, to a half-day. This could include a Lunch & Learn or staff meeting, or a new employee orientation. Presentations may include a combination of ERS and Peach State Reserves information or may include only ERS or only PSR, your choice. There is no fee required, but there are requirements for numbers of attendees. Please see the information below for these requirements.
Agency Sponsored Events
An agency may choose to sponsor a one or two day financial planning seminar specifically for their employees. Call the Retirement Planning Division at 404-603-5711 to discuss details. If the event is held outside the metro Atlanta area, a minimum of 50 attendees is required.
We are also available for short presentations to agencies and conferences, but require a commitment of at least 20 people.
Agencies may team up to satisfy the minimum number or ERS can invite others from the region to attend.
