INTRODUCTION
Interest in music and music education in the State of Geo rgia has grown substantially in the past few years. The music education program reflects this growth in increased activity in the institutions of higher learning.
This list of music personnel includes all professional persons employed by junior colleges, colleges and universities in Georgia. The purpose is to provide school systems, colleges, universities, libraries, and local arts councils with a list of competent personnel who may contribute to the improved quality, variety, and expansion of music in Geor gia.
The Georgia Department of Education thanks all individuals for their responses to requests for information. It is hoped this publication will be useful as a ready reference of human resources available in the many communities throughout Georgia.
