It's In the Mail!
After completing service for a Driver's License, Identification Card, Permit or Driving History, your document(s) should arrive by mail within 14 days.
Security
At DDS our first priority is to maintain the integrity and security of your personal identification information.
Creating your personal account will assist us in this effort.
Remember to always keep your address current with DDS. The U.S.P.S. will not deliver to a forwarding address.
All customers requesting a new Driver's License, Identification Card or Permit should immediately destroy old licenses, ID cards or permits upon receipt of the replacement to protect your identity and sensitive personal information.

The Department of Driver Services (DDS) has offered our customers Internet service options since 2002!
Now DDS has improved our website to provide additional transactions and make existing services more convenient saving our customers valuable time and money.
Services are available twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. Why come in if you don't have to?

Instantly create a customer account to conduct transactions, view your status and receive notifications from DDS without delay
Immediately renew or replace a license without a prior invitation or special instructions from DDS
Receive multiple services in one transaction using our shopping cart

Simple Registration
After creating a customer account, customers will immediately have information forwarded to the email address provided. The email from DDS provides a link to continue the confirmation process. With one click, customers are then directed to select the services needed. The process is simple and secure.
Cost Savings
DDS does not charge an additional fee for choosing Internet Services. There are fees for particular services just as when visiting in person. A $5.00 discount may apply for eligible license types that are renewed on the Internet.

For services that require a payment, you may use your Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover card. Debit cards with the Visa or Mastercard logo are also accepted.
