The Restoration of Hope The preaching of the word to broken spirits opens the blind eyes and the deaf ears to the unlimited possibilities within the grasp of the youth and their families. Invite DJJ Youth and their families to your worship service.
Teaching Spiritual Disciplines: Prayer Meditation Study Service The four spiritual disciplines above may be embraced and taught to youth who are detained in a DJJ facility. These disciplines offer an opportunity to the youth to embrace and own their own spirituality; to be responsible for their own decisions.
Job Placement Some members of your congregation may know of employment or entrepreneurial opportunities a returning youth may be suited for.
Transportation A youth may need transportation to a job interview, school or college or a family may need transportation to visit one of our youth detained in an RYDC or YDC.
Mentoring A youth may benefit greatly from your 90-day commitment to be a spiritual guide who encourages the youth to remain on the straight path, to commit to become a law-abiding citizen, a servant in his community and to remain faithful to God.
