`Sine Die' Looms Wednesday
FY `05 Budget and HOPE Reforms Remain Issues to Watch
With just one legislative day remaining in the 2004 session of the General Assembly, the state's $16 billion budget for Fiscal Year 2005 and legislation to reform the HOPE Scholarship program are among the issues receiving the most attention.
to continue its efforts on Monday and Tuesday. If a budget has not been adopted when "sine die" (final adjournment) is declared on Wednesday, Gov. Sonny Perdue will have to call legislators back at a later date for a special session just for that purpose.
