OTHER UPCOMING ACADEMIC/STUDENT RELATED COLLECTIONS
Financial Aid (FARS): The timing of the FARS collection will be similar to previous award years in that it will occur just after the Fiscal Operations Report and Application to Participate (FISAP) deadline. The IPEDS SFA survey deadline for the 2010-2011 award year (not survey year) will be earlier than previous years. ITS is working to eliminate the need for the post collection data corrections (DBIs) that we experienced in 2010 - 2011.
Preliminary Headcount: In previous years, campuses have been required to Extract and Load in early September for the purpose of providing a preliminary enrollment headcount for the Board of Regents meeting that will take place September 13th 14th. Institutions should be prepared to perform this Extract and Load in early September.
Move on When Ready (MOWR): ITS is working with the USG Office of Student Affairs and the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) on a solution for providing data on behalf of all campuses to GaDOE for the purpose of invoicing MOWR. The necessary data are part of the current ADM collection though the timing for Fall may require an early Extract and Load, similar to the Preliminary Headcount requirement. The solution will require campus validation prior to transmission of data to GaDOE. Details will be forthcoming. Please be thinking about the resources on your campus that will need to be involved in this process.
