GAcollege411 Highlights

November 2007

Transcript Exchange news: As you know, Georgia high schools now have the ability to submit admissions transcripts electronically to colleges and universities throughout the state. The process is very similar to the one used to upload and send transcripts for HOPE calculations. Students may also request transcripts to be sent electronically with their admissions applications through their My 411 accounts. You can find further information on high school uploads, and student transcript requests in our "Transcript Exchange Document Library".
HOPE GPA news: We are pleased to announce the "HOPE Progress Report" for 9th through 11th grade students. This new feature will allow students, parents and counselors to monitor a students' progress towards HOPE eligibility as early as the 9th grade. Underclassmen can access this information in the same manner that seniors access their HOPE GPA report in their My 411 accounts. Detailed instructions can be found at "How to view your HOPE GPA" under Latest News and Announcements.

Enhancements to the GAcollege411 website

Additional test preps: As a result of our survey, GAcollege411 will soon include study information for the Georgia High School Graduation Test and End of Course Tests in our `Test Prep' area. Look for this addition during the Winter of 2009. We are also in the process of redesigning the layout of our homepage based on the suggestions we received from the survey. Thanks to all that participated and provided us with such valuable feedback!
Graduate applications now live: USG has launched applications to several of their Graduate Schools of Education. Students may now apply for MAT or M.Ed programs at Georgia Southern, Columbus State, Georgia State, Valdosta State, and North Georgia College and State University;

GSFC on the move:

continue to coordinate and be the conduit for information between GSFC and Xap on the Transcript

Exchange project.
