GAcollege411 Highlights
October 2007
High Schools now have the ability to send transcripts for their current students electronically through the GAcollege411 Counselor Center, and Post Secondary Schools can download the .PDF in the same manner that applications are downloaded. We are phasing in High Schools and Post Secondary schools through the end of 2007. USG schools should contact Cori Loftis, DTAE schools should contact Sandra Kinney, and Private Colleges and High Schools should contact Janine Robinson Combre for further information. You can find further information on the process for High School uploads, and student transcript requests in our Transcript Exchange Document Library.
GSFC held the 2008 Transcript Exchange and HOPE Grade Point Average Calculation sessions on Tuesday October 23rd, 9:00-2:00 at Valdosta Technical College, Thursday October 25th, 9:00-2:00 at North Metro Technical College and Tuesday November 6th 9:00-2:00 at Central Georgia Technical College. An overview of the transcript exchange project and review of last years calculation process were done by David Lee; Extract/upload/release procedures were covered by Demi Fogle; Electronic transcript exchange was covered by Janine Robinson Combre; New report features on STARS and updates were covered by Bob Lahl, and Caylee French reviewed prior year graduates HOPE calculations. You can download the PowerPoint presentation from the sessions from our Document Library.
