Only eight more tag orders to go!
Congratulations, Georgia preservationists! Our rallying cry for supporters has resulted in a surprising jump in numbers from 957 two weeks ago to 992 this week! We have four more weeks to make it to our goal of 1,000 license plate reservations by the end of the year. Those 1,000 reserved plates will mean at least an additional $22,000 will go into the SFY2009 Georgia Heritage pot of money. To help HPD in this final push, the Georgia Association of Broadcasters will be airing license plate radio spots next week, Dec. 3-8, on stations throughout Georgia. For more information, contact Carole Moore, grants coordinator, at Carole.Moore@dnr.state.ga.us or 404-463-8434. To order your tag, visit HPD's web site at www.gashpo.org. Thank you all for your continued support!
Breaking News! - We just heard this morning, unofficially, that we've reached our 1,000 order goal!!! As soon as we get official word, we'll announce the news and make plans to celebrate.
