NTHP'S HERITAGE TOURISM PROGRAM SEEKS COSPONSORS
The National Trust for Historic Preservation's (NTHP) Heritage Tourism Program is seeking local cosponsor applicants for its Share Your Heritage 2004 workshop series. Four cosponsors will be selected to receive an intensive planning workshop which is designed to bring a diverse, targeted group of community representatives together to address key cultural heritage tourism challenges. Each workshop will address a specific challenge or theme and will result in a targeted action plan for local cultural heritage tourism programs. Workshops are developed as a partnership effort between the Heritage Tourism Program and the local cosponsor. 2004 PPT GRANTS CALL FOR PROPOSALS AND APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE ONLINE
NCPTT's (National Center for Preservation Technology and Training) grants program supports innovative projects focusing on preservation technology in historic architecture, historic landscape, archaeology and materials conservation. The proposals deadline is December 1, 2003. www.ncptt.nps.gov

E-GRANTS INITIATIVE MAKES FINDING GOVERNMENT GRANTS SIMPLER
Grants.gov`s "Find Grant Opportunities" (FIND) feature is now available. FIND allows you to search for information on competitive grant opportunities from all 26 federal grant-making agencies from one location. You can also register to be notified of future grant opportunities as they are added. The "Apply for Grants" (APPLY) feature allows grantors to post grant application packages and grant seekers to access and submit applications. The APPLY feature will be launched on October 31, 2003. NPS CULTURAL RESOURCES DIVERSITY PROGRAM INTERNSHIPS
The National Park Service's (NPS) Cultural Resources Diversity Program is soliciting proposals for intern projects for summer 2004 and 2004-2005 academic year. Selected projects will share the cost of the intern with the program. The internships were created to offer career exploration opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds. Last summer, 14 interns worked in national parks, National Park Service offices, State Historic Preservation Offices, and private organizations, including the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Preservation Dallas. The application deadline is December 5, 2003.
