HPD STAFF NEWS
Ariel Lambert, survey and register specialist, has left HPD after two-and-a-half years to move to Richmond, Virginia. She was responsible for many of the Survey and National Register unit's public information services including assisting researchers. Formerly, Ariel worked as the program assistant for the Planning and Local Assistance Unit where she supported the environmental review and Certified Local Government programs.
Because of the current State budget situation, the survey and register specialist position likely will remain vacant for some time. Until further notice, National Register program public information services will be limited, and research hours will be restricted to Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. For information about the National Register program, or to make an appointment to research the files, please continue to call 404-651-5911 and leave a clear, detailed message. Messages will be checked regularly and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Please do not call other staff instead as this will only delay our ability to respond. We appreciate your cooperation during this difficult period, and regret any inconvenience that may be caused.
