GGS PUBLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE PURCHASE
The maps and other publications available at the Georgia Geologic Survey's (GGS) Publications Sales Office in Atlanta are now available at http://ggsstore.dnr.state.ga.us. You can now take advantage of the shopping cart feature to place orders any time of the day, and to save the time of a personal visit to the Survey's Atlanta sales office.

JACOB K. JAVITS FELLOWSHIPS AVAILABLE
The U.S. Department of Higher Education's Jacob K. Javits Fellowship program provides financial assistance to students who have demonstrated: superior academic ability and achievement; exceptional promise; and financial need to undertake graduate study leading to the terminal highest degree in the selected field of study. Subject to the availability of funds, a fellow receives the Javits fellowship annually for up to the lesser of 48 months or the completion of their degree.
