SLAVERY AMONG THE CHEROKEE
In honor of Black History Month, the Chieftains Museum in Rome will present an exhibit discussing aspects of slavery among the Cherokee. The exhibit will include artifacts and photographs. J. NEEL REID FELLOWSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE
The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation is now accepting applications from eligible architects and architecture students for the J. Neel Reid Prize, a $5,000 fellowship that may be applied to studies of classic architecture anywhere in the world. Priority will be given to those applicants residing, studying or working in Georgia. SOUTHEASTERN MUSEUMS CONFERENCE SEEKS NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Southeastern Museums Conference is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director. SEMC is a nonprofit membership organization with constituents from a 12-state area in the southeast.
