LIVING AND MOVING: PRESERVING EXAMPLES OF SOUTHERN CULTURE

A photographic exhibition featuring works of five graduate students in historic preservation will be on display from April 5-30 at the Athens Regional Library. Railroad towns, cemeteries, bridges, farms, and downtown buildings are the subjects for a visual exploration of our built environment. The photographs depict the south, its unique visual and aesthetic qualities, and its vulnerability to time and change.
