Adopt-A-Stream state staff have worked diligently over the past two years to overhaul the AAS website, digital communications, program resources, and the database. State staff are excited to announce that edits to the data submission forms will go live on Monday, February 28th. Below you can find details about some of the most notable changes.
Color and font consistency You will notice that edits have been made to the forms to allow for greater consistency with fonts, colors, verbiage, spacing, etc.
Photo submission A photo submission box has (finally!) been added to the site information data form. You can select up to 10 photos, no greater than 4MB to add to each data entry.
Submit All button Instead of submitting data after each page, you will now fill out each applicable tab and submit your data all at once with just a single click! You will now find that button at the top of the page.
Save as Draft button Ever been interrupted when trying to submit data? Now you can use the Save as Draft button to save your data entry as a draft! These drafts can be accessed for one week after submission using a link you receive in your email.

In order to assist volunteers and trainers with the transition to the updated forms, AAS will host a virtual Lunch & Learn Monday, March 7th from 12p-1p. Please register to be a part of this detailed walk through of the data submission forms. Grab your lunch and join us on Zoom! If you are unavailable March 7th, AAS staff plans to record the session and post to the AAS YouTube channel.
Please be aware that if you plan to submit data the week of February 28th, the updated forms will be live. We've tried our best to thoroughly test the new data forms, but we cannot promise there won't be any glitches. Contact us at AAS@dnr.ga.gov if you encounter any issues or have comments you'd like to share.
