President's Environmental Youth Awards The President's Environmental Youth Awards recognize outstanding environmental projects by K-12 students. Since 1971, the president has joined with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to recognize young people for protecting our nation's air, water, land, and ecology. Apply by March 1, 2017.
Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators The Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators recognizes outstanding K-12 teachers who employ innovative approaches to environmental education and use the environment as a context for learning. Apply by March 1, 2017.
Georgia Farm to School Summit - Call for Proposals A call for proposals is now open for the 2017 Georgia Farm to School Summit to be held at Helms College in Augusta, October 5-6. Proposals are being accepted for workshops and education sessions on a broad range of farm to school and early care topics. Proposals due March 1, 2017.
SEEA Conference & Research Symposium Registration is now open for the Southeastern Environmental Education Alliance's (SEEA) 5th Annual Conference & Research Symposium, March 3-5, 2017, at the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center in Buford, GA.
Confluence: Georgia Adopt-A-Stream's Volunteer Monitoring Conference Registration is now open for Confluence, Georgia Adopt-A-Stream's annual volunteer conference, March 24-25 at the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center. Register by March 21, 2017.
