Rooting for Carrots is a state-wide effort to

get kids across Georgia eating, growing and

first 400 to sign-up will get a free packet of

carrot seeds and a Georgia Planting and

Harvest Calendar for school gardens.

The Million Pollinator Garden Challenge

This challenge is a nationwide call to action

to preserve and create gardens and

landscapes that help revive the health of

of

individuals, kids and families outdoors and

make a connection between pollinators and

Monarch Health Crowdfunding Project

Coordinated by UGA's Odum School of

Ecology, Monarch Health is a citizen science

project that involves volunteer observers in

collecting samples from monarch butterflies

spread of a debilitating wild populations. Crowdfunding

support will help distribute sampling kits,

process and return results, develop

educational materials, offer undergraduate

training, and more. Contribute by

September 5, 2015.

Georgia Outdoor Learning Symposium The Council of Outdoor Learning will present the 19th annual Outdoor Learning Symposium at the Fortson 4-H Center in Hampton, GA on November 13, 2015. Check out the program and register today.
