Georgia School Is Nation's First Green Flag Eco-School
Congratulations to Savannah Country Day School in Savannah, Georgia! This school has earned the first Green Flag in the United States. Staff from the National Wildlife Federation awarded the the top Eco-Schools honor in an recent ceremony.

Chefs Move to Schools Program
Chefs to work with teachers, parents and school nutrition professionals and administrators to help educate kids about food and nutrition. This initiative ties in with Farm-to-School and Green School programs. Schools and chefs can sign up now. Participants are also eligible to receive a free cookware kit valued at approximately $2,000.
