2008 Outdoor Classroom Symposium Georgia's annual Outdoor Classroom Symposium will take place on Friday, November 14, 2008 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, GA. This year's theme is "My Space is Outside: Connecting Kids to the World Wide Wonders of the Outdoors." Onsite registration will be available.
2009 EEA Conference - Call for Proposals The Environmental Education Alliance (EEA) of Georgia is accepting proposals for the 2009 conference: Learning from the Land... Then, Now and in the Future. The conference will be held at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center March 13-15, 2009. The submission deadline has been extended to November 21, 2008.
Monarchs in Mexico Trips - Spaces Still Available Since 2004 Monarchs Acrooss Georgia has coordinated educational trips to the Monarch overwintering sanctuaries to experience one of the world's most impressive natural phenomenon. Spaces currently remain in the 2009 trips but registration closes December 31, 2008.
