FIRST LEGISLATIVE DAY *Rules Suspended HB 643. By Representative Mitchell of the 88th: A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 7 of Title 31 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to regulation and construction of hospitals and other health care facilities, so as to require the development of quality assurance standards for health care facilities; to provide a definition; to provide for the requirement for a care delivery model based on patient needs for health care facilities; to provide a duty to report quality of care and safety problems; to provide an identification requirement for persons dealing with patients in health care facilities; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

By Representatives Williamson of the 115th, Powell of the 171st, and Harrell of the 106th: A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Titles 15, 44, and 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to courts, property, and revenue and taxation, respectively, so as to revise provisions relating to the transmittal, filing, recording, access to, and territorial effect of tax liens issued by the Department of Revenue; to provide for electronic record keeping relating to the filing and public access to state tax liens; to provide for duties and responsibilities of the Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
