HB 1600 by Representative Williams of the 168th CITY OF FLEMINGTON: House Bill 1600 authorizes the city of Flemington to levy an excise tax.
HB 1601 by Representative Corbett of the 174th ECHOLS COUNTY: House Bill 1601 increases the size of the Echols County Board of Commissioners.
HB 1602 by Representative Jasperse of the 11th MURRAY COUNTY: House Bill 1602 establishes the Murray County Board of Elections and Registration.
SB 560 by HOUSE SUBSTITUTE by Senator Jones of the 10th DEKALB COUNTY: Senate Bill 560 revises provisions relating to the compensation of the DeKalb County Board of Education. The chairperson of the board shall receive $24,500 per year, the vice-chairperson shall receive $23,500 per year, and the other members of the board shall receive $22,500 per year. Additionally, the chairperson and the members of the board shall receive an expense allowance of $2,500 per year.

EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE:
HB 797 by SUBSTITUTE by Representative Gaines of the 117th ATHENS-CLARKE COUNTY: House Bill 797 increases existing general and senior homestead exemptions and creates a low-income base-year value homestead exemption from ad valorem taxes levied by the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County for unified government purposes.
