HB 980 by Representative Greene of the 151st EARLY COUNTY: House Bill 980 changes the descriptions of the Early County Board of Education's districts.
HB 981 by Representative Anderson of the 10th CITY OF CORNELIA: House Bill 981 authorizes the city of Cornelia to exercise all redevelopment powers found in Code and the Georgia Constitution.
HB 982 by Representative Greene of the 151st CALHOUN COUNTY: House Bill 982 provides new education district boundaries for the Calhoun County Board of Education.
HB 983 by Representative Campbell of the 171st MTICHELL COUNTY: House Bill 983 changes the description of the Mitchell County Board of Commissioners' districts.
HB 985 by Representative Williams of the 168th LIBERTY COUNTY: House Bill 985 changes the description of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners' districts.
HB 986 by Representative Collins of the 68th CARROLL COUNTY: House Bill 986 changes the description of the education districts for the Carroll County School District.
HB 987 by Representative Buckner of the 137th MERIWETHER COUNTY: House Bill 987 revises the per diem allowance of the Meriwether County Board of Education members. Members of the board shall, when approved by the board, receive a per diem of $300 for each day of attendance at meetings of the board and while meeting and traveling within or outside the state as a member of a committee of the board on official business.
HB 989 by Representative Smith of the 18th HARALSON COUNTY: House Bill 989 provides for the compensation of the Haralson County Board of Education. The chairperson and each member of the board of education shall receive $250 per month.

HB 990 by Representative Williams of the 145th BALDWIN COUNTY: House Bill 990 reconstitutes the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners.
HB 991 by Representative Bruce of the 61st FULTON COUNTY: House Bill 991 changes the description of the Fulton County Board of Education's districts.
HB 1006 by Representative Dickey of the 140th CRAWFORD COUNTY: House Bill 1006 reconstitutes the Crawford County Board of Education.
HB 1007 by Representative Dickey of the 140th CRAWFORD COUNTY: House Bill 1007 revises the districts for the election of members of the Crawford County Board of Commissioners.
PURSUANT TO ARTICLE VII, SECTION II, PARAGRAPH IV OF THE STATE CONSTITUTION, THE FOLLOWING LOCAL BILLS RELATING TO HOMESTEAD
EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE:
HB 988 by Representative Gullett of the 19th PAULDING COUNTY: House Bill 988 provides a $4,000 homestead exemption for the assessed value of a homestead for residents in Paulding County for tax year 2023 and an $8,000 homestead exemption for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2024.
