HB 761 by Representative Carter of the 92nd CITY OF LITHONIA: House Bill 761 changes the corporate limits of the city of Lithonia.
HB 763 by Representative Hill of the 3rd CATOOSA COUNTY: House Bill 763 revises the provisions regarding the compensation of the Catoosa County governing authority. Each member of the board, except the chairperson, shall receive an annual base salary of $12,000. The chairperson of the board shall receive an annual base salary of $16,000. The above compensations will be adjusted each year based on the change in the Consumer Price Index.
HB 764 by Representative Hill of the 3rd CITY OF FORT OGLETHORPE: House Bill 764 authorizes the city of Fort Oglethorpe to exercise all redevelopment powers found in the Constitution and Code.
HB 765 by Representative Hill of the 3rd CATOOSA COUNTY: House Bill 765 creates the Catoosa County Public Facilities Authority.
HB 766 Representative Hill of the 3rd CATOOSA COUNTY: House Bill 766 authorizes Catoosa County to exercise all redevelopment powers found in the Constitution and Code.
HB 767 by Representative Yearta of the 152nd LEE COUNTY: House Bill 767 revises the permitted uses of funds raised by the Lee County Magistrate Court law library fee and establishes a Magistrate Court Law Library Fund Committee.
HB 768 by Representative Powell of the 32nd CITY OF ROYSTON: House Bill 768 designates city council posts for the city of Royston and revises election procedures and procedures regarding election by plurality.
HB 770 by Ralston of the 7th GILMER COUNTY: House Bill 770 authorizes the assessment and collection of a technology fee by the Gilmer County Magistrate Court.
HB 775 by Representative Bentley of the 139th TAYLOR COUNTY: House Bill 775 modifies the compensation of the members of the Taylor County Board of Education. Members of the board shall receive a $200 per diem for each day of attendance at meetings of the board and while meeting and traveling within or outside the state as a member of the board on official business.
HB 777 by Representative Wilson of the 80th DEKALB COUNTY: House Bill 777 provides that the DeKalb County State Court will be governed by general law related to state courts. Additionally, it removes outdated provisions, modifies the provisions related to the appointment of assistant solicitors, modifies the fee schedule of the court, and provides for the chief judge of the court. Moreover, it modifies the provisions for the punishment of contempt and provides for a new procedure for the selection and removal of the clerk, marshal, and chief probation officer of the court. Finally, it provides for the uniform compensation and joint decision making for the state court judges and chief magistrate judge of the county. The bill will become effective on January 1, 2022.
