HB 655 by Representative Wilson of the 80th CITY OF BROOKHAVEN: House Bill 655 provides for the filling of vacancies in the offices of mayor and councilmember of the city of Brookhaven.
HB 682 by Representative Jasperse of the 11th PICKENS COUNTY: House Bill 682 reconstitutes and reestablishes the Pickens County Board of Elections and Registration. The board will be composed of five members. The governing authority of the county will appoint one nonpartisan member, who will serve as the chair. Two members will be appointed by the governing authority from a list of four nominees made by the county executive committee of the political party whose candidates in the preceding regular general election held for the General Assembly received the largest number of votes in the state. Two members will be appointed by the governing authority of the county from a list of four nominees made by the county executive committee of the political party whose candidates received the second largest number of votes in the state. The terms of office for the initial members of the board will begin on July 1, 2021. The bill will not become effective and will be automatically repealed on July 1, 2021 if a bill to abolish the current board is not approved during the 2021 session.
HB 683 by Representative Jasperse of the 11th PICKENS COUNTY: House Bill 683 provides for abolition of the Pickens County Board of Elections and Registration on June 30, 2021.
HB 684 by Representative Nix of the 69th TROUP COUNTY: House Bill 684 terminates the office of the current Troup County Board of Elections and Registration and establishes a new five-member board appointed by majority vote of the Troup County Board of Commissioners.
HB 685 by Representative Jasperse of the 11th CITY OF JASPER: House Bill 685 provides a new charter for the city of Jasper.
HB 705 by Representative Mathis of the 144th BLECKLEY COUNTY: House Bill 705 authorizes the Bleckley County Probate Court to charge a technology fee.
HB 707 by Representative Watson of the 172nd CITY OF COOLIDGE: House Bill 707 provides a new charter for the city of Coolidge.

HB 708 by Representative Dreyer of the 59th CITY OF HAPEVILLE: House Bill 708 creates the Hapeville Public Facilities Authority.
HB 711 by Representative Yearta of the 152nd CITY OF SYLVESTER: House Bill 711 provides residence requirements for city of Sylvester councilmembers. No person will be eligible to serve as mayor or councilmember unless he or she has been a resident of the city for at least 12 months prior to the date of election. Moreover, no person will be eligible to serve as councilmember unless he or she has been a resident of the ward he or she represents for at least 12 months prior to the date of election.
