HB 120 by Representative Morris of the 26th BELL-FORSYTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT: This bill states each superior court judge of the BellForsyth Judicial Circuit shall receive an annual salary supplement of $49,500 a year.
HB 329 by Representative Metze of the 55th CITY OF SOUTH FULTON: This bill authorizes the city of South Fulton to exercise all redevelopment and other powers under Article IX, Section II, Paragraph VII(b) of the Constitution and O.C.G.A. 36-44.
HB 460 by Representative Robichaux of the 48th CITY OF ROSWELL: This bill authorizes the governing authority of the city of Roswell to levy an excise tax.
HB 500 by Representative Cheokas of the 138th SUMTER COUNTY: This bill repeals the Sumter County Livestock Authority and provides for the assets and liabilities thereof.
HB 510 by Representative LaRiccia of the 169th CITY OF DOUGLAS: This bill authorizes the city of Douglas to exercise all redevelopment and other powers under Article IX, Section II, Paragraph VII(b) of the Constitution and O.C.G.A. 3644.
HB 529 by Representative Moore of the 95th CITY OF NORCROSS: This bill changes the terms of the mayor and city councilmembers of the city of Norcross.
HB 531 by Representative Rynders of the 152nd LEE COUNTY: This bill repeals an act providing that the Lee County tax commissioner shall retain a percentage of educational funds collected by the commissioner and then remit the funds to the governing authority of Lee County to reimburse the county for the cost of collecting school taxes.
SB 53 by Senator Jones of the 10th DEKALB COUNTY: This bill states that the boundaries of an independent school system in DeKalb County are not extended by annexation unless expressly approved in a separate referendum.
SB 93 by Senator Thompson of the 14th CHEROKEE JUDICIAL CIRCUIT: This bill changes the supplement to be paid to each judge of the Cherokee Judicial Circuit so they receive $45,000 per year. The district attorney shall receive $18,000 a year, which is in addition to the compensation paid to the district attorney by the state. These funds shall be paid out of the funds of Gordon and Bartow counties and apportioned among those two counties on a per capita basis.
