HB 685 by Representative Bentley of the 139th CITY OF FORT VALLEY: House Bill 685 provides for the establishment and powers of the Fort Valley Utility Commission. The bill also states the commission shall annually pay to the city of Fort Valley, in lieu of franchise fees, the greater of $1.25 million or 5.75 percent of all revenue collected for charges for services for the year.
HB 686 by Representative Dickey of the 140th CITY OF FORT VALLEY: House Bill 686 removes a certain geographical area from the corporate limits of the city of Fort Valley.
SB 7 by HOUSE SUBSTITUTE by Senator Jones of the 10th DEKALB COUNTY: Senate Bill 7 changes a definition regarding the DeKalb County Board of Ethics to exclude certain employees and persons; to provide for reporting of violations by county employees; to change the manner of appointment and terms of office of the members of the board; to provide for an ethics administrator; and to provide for preliminary investigations by the board and penalties for violations regarding board inquires.

HB 600 by SENATE SUBSTITUTE by Representative Dickey of the 140th MONROE COUNTY: House Bill 600 repeals a section relating to the road superintendent and provides for oaths, bonds, removal, and compensation for each member of the Monroe County Board of Commissioners. HB 610 as AMENDED BY THE SENATE by Representative Collins of the 68th CARROLL COUNTY: House Bill 610 authorizes the Carroll County Magistrate Court to charge a technology fee for each conviction of a traffic or ordinance violation and each civil case.
