HB 650 by SUBSTITUTE by Representative Dubnik of the 29th CITY OF GAINESVILLE: House Bill 650 changes the corporate boundaries of the city of Gainesville.
HB 665 by Representative Knight of the 130th CITY OF LOCUST GROVE: House Bill 665 provides for the creation of one or more community improvement districts in the city of Locust Grove.
HB 678 by Representative Howard of the 124th RICHMOND COUNTY: House Bill 678 changes the compensation of the judge of the Richmond County Probate Court to $142,000 a year.
HB 681 by Representative Sainz of the 180th CAMDEN COUNTY: House Bill 681 revises the definition of "project" under an act creating the Camden County Public Service Authority, in addition to providing for the composition of the authority and an annual certified audit of the authority.
HB 682 by Representative Sainz of the 180th CAMDEN COUNTY: House Bill 682 creates the Camden County Spaceport Authority.
HB 683 by Representative Sainz of the 180th CITY OF SAINT MARYS: House Bill 683 repeals an act creating the Saint Marys Airport Authority.
HB 688 by Representative Belton of the 112th CITY OF COVINGTON: House Bill 688 provides for term limits for the mayor and councilmembers of the governing authority of the city of Covington.
HB 689 by Representative Douglas of the 78th HENRY COUNTY: House Bill 689 expands the purpose of the Henry County Governmental Services Authority to include providing stormwater facilities and undertakings as defined by the Revenue Bond Law.
HB 694 by Representative Mitchell of the 88th DEKALB COUNTY: House Bill 694 provides for the clerk of the DeKalb County Superior Court to require that tax parcel identification number information be included on documents recorded in the real property records of the clerk.
HB 695 by Representative Wilson of the 80th CITY OF BROOKHAVEN: House Bill 695 increases the term limit of the mayor of the city of Brookhaven and provides for the filling of vacancies in the offices of the mayor and councilmembers.
HB 696 by Representative Jones of the 25th FORSYTH COUNTY: House Bill 696 provides for the creation of one or more community improvement districts in Forsyth County.
HB 697 by Representative Pruett of the 149th CITY OF ALAMO: House Bill 697 amends an act providing a new charter for the city of Alamo so as to provide for general powers and limitations on powers, to provide for the powers, duties, authority, election, terms, method of filling vacancies, compensation, expenses, qualifications, and prohibitions relative to the members of the governing authority, and to provide for official positions and duties of those positions.

PURSUANT TO ARTICLE VII, SECTION II, PARAGRAPH IV OF THE STATE CONSTITUTION, THE FOLLOWING LOCAL BILLS RELATING TO HOMESTEAD
EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE:
HB 684 by Representative Gambill of the 15th CITY OF CARTERSVILLE: House Bill 684 provides a homestead exemption from city of Cartersville school taxes in the amount of 50 percent of the assessed value of a homestead that does not exceed $500,000 for those aged 65 to 69. Each resident 70 to 79 years of age receives a 75 percent exemption of the assessed value of a homestead that does not exceed $500,000. Each resident 80 and older shall receive a 100 percent exemption of the assessed value of a homestead that does not exceed $500,000.
