HB 525 by Representative Tankersley of the 160th BULLOCH COUNTY: A Bill to authorize the City of Statesboro to levy a hotel/motel tax. HB 529 by Representative Harden of the 148th CRISP COUNTY: A Bill to authorize the City of Cordele to levy a hotel/motel tax. HB 543 by Representative Gravley of the 67th DOUGLAS COUNTY: A Bill to authorize Douglas County to levy a hotel/motel tax. HB 544 by Representative Turner of the 21st CHEROKEE COUNTY: A Bill to provide residency requirements for candidates for the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners. SB 199 by Senator Stone of the 23rd McDUFFIE COUNTY: A Bill to reapportion the McDuffie County Board of Education.

EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE:
HB 534 by Representative Houston of the 170th TIFT COUNTY: A Bill to provide a homestead exemption from City of Tifton ad valorem taxes in the amount of $35,000.00 of the assessed value of the homestead for residents of that city aged 65 or older.
