HB 543 by Representative Gravley of the 67th DOUGLAS COUNTY: A Bill to authorize Douglas County to levy a hotel/motel tax. HB 544 by Representative Turner of the 21st CHEROKEE COUNTY: A Bill to provide residency requirements for candidates for the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners. HB 534 by Representative Houston of the 170th TIFT COUNTY: A Bill to provide a homestead exemption from City of Tifton ad valorem taxes in the amount of $35,000.00 of the assessed value of the homestead for residents of that city aged 65 or older.
