Today on the Floor:
Speaker of the House Glenn Richardson (R-Hiram) gaveled the House into session today at 10:00 a.m. The Speaker recognized Rep. Hinson Mosley (R-Jesup) to introduce the Chaplain of the Day. Pastor Randy Carson from the First Baptist Church in Nahunta, Georgia, spoke to and then led the House in devotion.
Upon passage of the Local Calendar, Speaker Richardson recognized Representatives Debbie Buckner (D-Junction City), Earnest "Coach" Williams (D-Stone Mountain), Nikki Randall (D-Macon), and Ed Rynders (R-Albany) to speak at the well during Points of Personal Privileage.
Rep. Judy Manning (R-Marietta) introduced the Doctor of the Day, Dr. Gilbert of Kennesaw, Georgia.
Rep. Casas was also recognized for the birth of his new baby.

HB 151 - Drivers' licenses; information available to insurers;
extend pilot program; relating to keeping of records of
applications for drivers licenses and information on licensees, so as to
extend the pilot program to determine the revenue feasibility of
supplying limited rating information to agents, insurers, and insurance
support organizations.
