Legislative Day # 10
Tuesday on the Floor:
Today the House convened at 10:00am for legislative business. Rep. Alisha Thomas Morgan (D-Austell) introduced the Chaplin for the Day, Tyson Kindell Moore from Douglas County, who spoke to and led the Assembly in devotion. After the morning orders, Rep. Stan Watson (D-Decatur) spoke at the well regarding the issue of kicking off February as Black History Month. Rep. Jones introduced the Doctor of the Day, Dr. Mel Branch.
After the reading of announcements, Speaker Richardson gaveled the House to recess until 10:00am tomorrow morning.
