Comprehensive Tax Reform Study Committee Scheduled to Hold Sixth Meeting
ATLANTA State Representative James Mills (R-Gainesville) has announced that the Comprehensive Tax Reform Study Committee will hold its sixth meeting on Thursday, September 21, 2006. The meeting will be held at Emerald Pointe Resort on Lake Lanier in Plantation Ballroom C. It is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM.

Representative Mills will serve as the chair of the meeting, which is being held for the purpose of discussing balance, equity, fairness, fees, and adequacy of reserves.
The Tax Reform Study Committee was created through House Resolution 1464 during the 2006 Legislative Session. The study committee is chaired by Representative Larry O'Neal. Richard Royal, Butch Parrish, James Mills, Chuck Martin, David Knight and Steve Tumlin were selected as committee members. Each member of the study committee will chair one of the seven meetings that will take place throughout the state.
