Speaker Richardson appoints State Representatives Cecily Hill and Michele Henson to the Cervical Cancer Elimination Task Force
Atlanta Today House Speaker Glenn Richardson (R-Hiram) appointed State Representatives Cecily Hill (R-St. Marys) and Michele Henson ( DStone Mountain) to the legislature's Cervical Cancer Elimination Task Force study committee. The task force is made up of two members appointed by the Speaker, two members appointed by the State Senate, and five members are appointed by the Governor.

The Task Force was created to study what legislative avenues are available to help the State of Georgia eliminate the presence of cervical cancer. The Task Force will meet until the end of June 2006 to make its recommendations to the whole House of Representatives.
