House Study Committee on Children: Newborns to Age Five AtlantaSpeaker of the House Glenn Richardson (R-Hiram) appointed State Representatives Judy Manning (R-Marietta), Jay Neal (R-LaFayette), Georganna Sinkfield (D-Atlanta), Kathy Ashe (D-Atlanta), and John Lunsford (R-McDonough) to the House Study Committee on Restructuring Georgia's Criminal Penalties.

The committee shall undertake a study of the conditions, needs, issues, challenges, and opportunities relating to a careful study of existing programs and services that would be a first step toward ensuring that all of Georgia's children are safe, healthy, and growing toward successful lives.
