Speaker Richardson appoints State Representatives Brooks Coleman, Don Parsons, Tom Graves, and Steve Tumlin to the Joint
Early Learning Initiative Commission AtlantaSpeaker of the House Glenn Richardson (R-Hiram) appointed State Representatives Brooks Coleman (R-Duluth), Don Parsons (RMarietta), Tom Graves (R-Ranger), and Steve Tumlin (R-Marietta) to the Joint Early Learning Initiative Commission.

The committee shall undertake a study of the conditions, needs, issues, challenges, and opportunities relating to a comprehensive review of early learning opportunities currently available that support health, social and emotional, cognitive and physical well being of children from birth to five years of age and recommendations for improvement of quality early care and learning opportunities would be helpful to the General Assembly in adopting education policies and appropriating funds for the most effective uses.
