State Representative Chuck Martin Appointed to George L. Smith II World Congress Center Authority Overview
Committee Atlanta State Representative Chuck Martin (R-Alpharetta) was appointed to the George L. Smith II World Congress Center Authority Overview Committee by House Speaker Glenn Richardson (R-Dallas). The Authority serves as both owner and operator of the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park and is directly responsible for promoting and servicing regional, national and international events, conventions and trade shows. These events have all proven to economically benefit the state of Georgia.
Representative Martin serves as the Vice Chairman of the Science and Technology Committee. He is also a Member of the Appropriations, Natural Resources & Environment and Public Utilities Committees of the House.
