Lawmakers to hold meeting at Fort Stewart on Military Personnel Issues
Atlanta The House General Government Subcommittee of Appropriations, which is chaired by Representative Lynmore James (D-Montezuma), will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 29, 2004, in Fort Stewart, Georgia regarding issues relative to military personnel and military entities in Georgia. The meeting will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., in building 9304.
Speakers at the meeting include Major General Peter J. Boylan, President, GA Military College, Assistant Commissioner James L. Frederick, Department of Veteran Affairs Claims and Major General David Poythress, Adjutant General, Department of Defense.
"This meeting will be very informative on a wide range of concerns effecting our men and women in uniform," said Lynmore James, chairman of the committee. "I encourage all those interested to attend voice their concerns."
