Methamphetamine Study Committee Meeting Announced
All Interested in Attending Meeting are Welcome
Atlanta-- The Methamphetamine Study Committee will meet for the third public hearing on Tuesday, November 30, 2004, in Albany, Georgia, at the Albany-Dougherty Government Center Conference Room, located at 222 Pine Avenue, Albany, Georgia 31701-2531. The meeting will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Members of the Study Committee include Representatives Barbara Massey Reece (D-Menlo) (Chiar), Mike Snow (D-Chickamauga), Curtis Jenkins (D-Forsyth), David Graves (R-Macon) and Howard Mosby (D-Stone Mountain).
The committee will be looking for information in the following areas: extent of the meth problem access to ingredients for manufacturing local initiatives to combat meth suggestions to improve support from state departments clean up of meth sites/registration of site effects on others residing near or entering site prevention ideas possible legislation needed
