Jamieson Announces Road Improvements for Banks County
Rep. Jeanette Jamieson, D-Toccoa, announces the Department of Transportation has approved proposed road improvement projects for Banks County.
1.532 miles of Wilkinson Rd will be graded, drained, based and paved. Construction will begin after the contract has been duly executed and work order issued.
"I am pleased to see the paper work moving on this project. The residents of Wilkinson Road have been promised and have waited patiently for this much needed help," said Jamieson. "We are delighted to be a part of the good things happening in Banks County."
