Representative Able Mable Thomas Convenes Public Hearing -
"Affordable Housing in Georgia - What Are the Issues? Is There A Crisis?"
Atlanta Responding to citizens' requests from across the greater metropolitan Atlanta area, the Fulton County Delegation's Housing and Economic Development Subcommittee will sponsor a Public Hearing on Affordable Housing needs across the State of Georgia.
State Representative Able Mable Thomas, District 43, Post 1, Subcommittee Chair, will convene the public hearing in Atlanta on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the State Capitol, Room 341, the Appropriations Room.
The hearing will provide a forum for Housing providers from both the public and private sectors to comment on policies and trends affecting the current supply of affordable housing. Members of the general public and citizens' groups are invited to testify about the issues they face in the search for affordable housing.
