DELOACH NAMED TO ORGAN DONOR OVERSIGHT PANEL
Atlanta - State Rep. Buddy DeLoach, I-Hinesville, has been re-named to the Advisory Board on Anatomical Gift Procurement.
The appointment was made by House Speaker Terry Coleman, D-Eastman.
The board makes recommendations concerning policies and procedures governing organ donation and availability.
DeLoach will serve on the board for a term concurrent with his term of office as a member of the General Assembly.
"When we're talking about organ donation, we're talking about the ultimate gift that means the difference between life and death for some of our citizens," said Rep. Deloach. "I am humbled and honored to have been re-named to such an important post."
DeLoach serves on the Appropriations, Governmental Affairs and Natural Resources and Environment Committees.
