House Study Committee Hosting Technical Conference
Atlanta The House Study Committee on the Development of Sustainable Energy in Georgia is hosting a technical conference to review the status of sustainable energy options as well as the challenges to implementation.
It will be held on December 4, 2002 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Capitol Education Center located at 180 Central Avenue, Atlanta.
"There will be panel discussions regarding supply side options a well as perspectives from regulatory, stakeholder and utility representatives," said Chairperson Karla Drenner, D-Avondale Estates. "Sustainable energy options including waste to energy, biomass, solar, wind, and other alternative technologies will be discussed. I encourage those interested in advancing viable sustainable energy options in Georgia to attend."
Other committee members include Rep. Hugh Broome, D-Donalsonville, Rep. Tom McCall, DElberton, Rep. Lynn Westmoreland, R-Sharpsburg and Rep. Kathy Ashe, D-Atlanta.
