A BILL to be entitled an Act to incorporate the City of Buckhead City; to provide a charter; to provide for definitions and construction; to provide for other matters relative to the foregoing; to provide for a referendum; to provide effective dates and transitional provisions governing the transfer of various functions and responsibilities from Fulton County to the City of Buckhead City; to provide for severability; to provide for effective dates; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

SB 334. By Senator Mullis of the 53rd:
A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 14 of Article 6 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to other educational programs under the "Quality Basic Education Act," so as to provide that no high school which receives funding under Article 6 of Chapter 2 of Title 20, the "Quality Basic Education Act," shall participate in or sponsor interscholastic sports events conducted by any athletic association unless the association has separate regions and playoffs for certain private schools and certain public schools; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

Sess., p. 331), so as to reconstitute the board of commissioners; to change the description of the commissioner districts; to provide for definitions and inclusions; to provide for continuation in office of current members; to provide for effective dates; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
