A bill to amend Article 1 of Chapter 8 of Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to equipment of motor vehicles generally, so as to change the provisions relating to display of owner's name on certain trucks; to provide that it shall be unlawful to operate in this state any bus, truck, or truck tractor having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating or an owner declared gross weight of 10,001 or more pounds or transporting hazardous materials in a quantity requiring placarding which does not comply with the name and other display requirements of this Act.
